Your comfort is our main concern...
We own three houses in the Corrèze / Lot Departments.  Our flagship house that bears the family name, Maison Burgos, is in the extraordinary village of Saint-Céré, Lot.  The following is an excerpt from Passport’s Regional Guides of France: The Dordogne & Lot by Arthur & Barbara Eperon.

“St. Céré is a happy little town with the Bave River washing the walls of flower-decked old houses.  Built in the 9th century at an important route junction, a trading centre in the 13th century, it is still a market town for prosperous surrounding farms specializing in plums and strawberries: also a fine centre for touring and walking….St. Céré has an excellent Saturday market taking up the main square and the whole centre of the little village.

Defended by a series of castles, especially St. Laurent, whose two towers look down a steep hill to the old brown-tiled roofs, St. Céré escaped remarkably from the ravages of wars.  It still has a medieval air, especially in the photogenic Place du Mercadial and in rue Paramelle, with wooden houses, 12th – century windows and 15th-16th-century mansions.”

One of those mansions is Maison Burgos which sits behind Place du Mercadial and across from the famous 15th century Miramon Mansion on rue Saint Cyr.

The Miramon Mansion was a well known 15th century hotel which was known to welcome many aristrocrats of the French royal court and is flanked with an amazing corner turret. Stunning views can be enjoyed from our windows, and the center of town is just a scenic  minute's walk away.
